Skin Time: It's Not Just For Mommies Anymore!

Tonight, for the first time, I got to spend some real skin-to-skin time with the boy. We chilled for 90 minutes or so. Talked about women, mostly.

And Amy was there with the camera. This one goes out to you Mom and Dad.

Sweet, or what?

Ooh, and a contest to Celebrate Hale's first weekiversary (Weds, 9:02am)...

We will award a nice handmade print of any picture of Hale the winner selects, to the first person who can adequately describe what's going on in this picture:

  1. Ok, I see a tree outside, a tv going inside (do I have to guess the program?) a breast pump, a chair - getting ready to move the office? I want a picture of HALE! Happy 1 week birthday Hale True! I love you! (THose are some pretty beautiful pictures of the sasquach and the alien I have to say)

  3. This is obviously a picture of mission control at the highly elusive Pixie headquarters. They appear to be in a kerfluffle over Hale's fashionably early entrance, and are busy constructing not only the day-to-day wonders that will amuse his brain after the intended born-on date, but a few emergency in-oven sparklies to tide him over for now. Because, you know, the tickling starts immediately upon womb exit as far as the Pixies are concerned, whether you're on time or not.

The Pixies themselves are extremely hard to photograph. Dare I say impossible? But kudos for peering into the window and affording us this glimpse into GO TIME.

  5. Inside, looking out, reflecting back in. Amy's hooked up to the milk-sucking robot, while our new president addresses Congress on the internet screen.

Kristin and Ele, step forward and claim your photos.
